This is a very nice original panel 56 Bel Air hardtop done in its “Slick” factory Turquoise & White, new tinted windshield, all window stainless is original and re-polished in excellent condition, rare optional rain guards on side glass, at time of restoration had new weather stripping and window felts, window flippers work like they should, all side glass is factory softray tinted in excellent condition, upper door stainless is original in excellent condition, side view mirrors have also been replaced, new door handles with accessory fingernail guards, new hood jet, hood emblems appear to be original in very good condition, hood bar appears to be original in excellent condition, fender hood bar extensions have been re-chromed; as well as side fender extensions, new parking light housings and parking lights, original grill and lower grill molding in excellent condition, front bumper has been re-chromed; as well as bumper guards, original Bel Air side trim has been re-polished in excellent condition with exception of 1 small ding on left quarter molding, factory optional door edge guards; as well as optional stone guard and rocker moldings in excellent condition, Bel Air side emblems look like new, rear mount factory antenna, taillight housings have been re-chromed and new lens, deck lid emblems are original in very good condition, rear bumper has been re-chromed; as well as bumper guards.
At time of restoration dash and garnish moldings have been refinished, original instrument cluster showing 62,500 miles, nicely updated with direct-fit AM/FM stereo with IPOD capability, custom front kick panel speakers, original steering wheel in excellent condition, new headliner and visors, stainless headliner moldings and rear window moldings in excellent condition, new factory 2 tone front and rear door panels, front and rear seats have also been reupholstered, Daytona carpet with deluxe Bel Air floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have the original 265 factory 4 barrel which has been rebuilt, factory air cleaner and factory generator, updated with Mallory ignition, heavy duty radiator, nicely updated with power front disc brakes and dual master, factory exhaust manifolds into dual exhaust out the back with stainless tips, this strong running 265 is backed up with its original 2 speed automatic, factory rear with 342 gear.
This “Gorgeous” 56 rides on a set of 17 inch Billet Specialty wheels 215/55 up front and 225 out back.
