This is a very nice 68 Roadrunner done in a slick Lemon Twist Yellow, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, mat black fiberglass six pack hood with steel structure, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield and rubber; all other glass is factory original in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, original window stainless has been re-polished in excellent condition; as well as drip rail chrome, door handles have also been replaced, original grill and headlight bezels in excellent condition, re-chromed front bumper, new side view mirror, original taillight bezels and lens in excellent condition, deck lid applique is also original in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper.
Black bucket seat console interior, original dash, original dash pad in excellent condition, also glove box door and switch panel surround is in very good condition – no cracks, original instrument cluster – showing 94,000 miles, original steering wheel in very good condition, tach nicely mounted to column, AM/FM/CD stereo with remote nicely mounted in dash, trio of gauges mounted under dash, headliner and visors in very good condition, front and rear door panels have also been replaced, original front and rear arm rest in good condition, original rear seat cover in excellent condition, pair of high back buckets up front in very good condition, original center console and shifter in very good condition, carpet has also been replaced, Roadrunner floor mats, original sill plates.
Under the hood we have a mild built 440, 906 heads, HiFlow aluminum water pump housing, Edelbrock 4 barrel intake with dual feed Holley and electric choke, updated with MSD ignition system and billet distributor, heavy duty radiator, power steering, disc brakes up front, set of long tub ceramic coated headers into 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust out the back with correct tips, this strong running 440 is backed up with a 727 Torqueflite trans, 2600 converter, Lokar kick down cable, 8 3/4 Sure Grip posi with 323 gear.
