SOLD SOLD – 1965 Pontiac GTO – 5 Speed

This is a very nice clean original panel 65 GTO, PHS Docs, done in a very nice Victory Red, base coat clear coat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory tint in excellent condition, all original stainless moldings and trim are in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new door handles, factory original remote side view mirror in excellent condition, original grills and head light bezels in excellent condition, re-chromed front bumper, new emblems, wheel well moldings are original in excellent condition, original rocker moldings in excellent condition, original tail panel molding and tail light bezels in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper.

Black bucket seat console interior, original dash in excellent condition, original dash pad – no cracks, factory tach and gauge package, factory AM/FM radio, rare tilt steering with 3 spoke sport wood wheel, new headliner and visors; as well as sail panels and package tray, at time of restoration had new front and rear door panels, new arm rest, front and rear seat covers are original in excellent condition – with exception of a little wear on driver side lace, updated with front seat belts, original 4 speed console in very good condition, new carpet.

Under the hood the original 389 has been replaced with a built 428, Edelbrock performance plus cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, chrome valve covers and breather, Mallory ignition, heavy duty aluminum radiator with correct shroud and 7 blade clutch fan, chrome pulleys and brackets, power steering, power front disc breaks, this strong running 428 is backed up with a Tremec 5 speed, new clutch and pressure plate, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with dual chrome tips, factory 10 bolt rear with 355 posi.

Rides on a set of new chrome American Racing Torq Thrust wheels 16×7 all around with 215/65/16 up front and 235/65/16 rear.

Factory jack and spare. Also have original Tri-power intake and carbs, PHS documentation, original owners manual, Protect-O-Plate and some paperwork.

This “Gorgeous” GTO is ready to cruise and enjoy.
