This is a “Super Cool” 55 Chevy 3100 pickup, clean all steel body, done in a cream with burgundy accents, “Old School” custom pin strip, shop truck logo on door’s – which are vinyl; can be removed or changed, very nice oak wood bed, during restoration had all new tined glass; including windshield, new weather stripping, window felts and window rubbers, dual side view mirrors, door handles look original in very good condition, new chrome grill, new front and rear chrome bumpers, stainless tail lights which are LED.
Original dash which has been repainted and custom pin stripped, nice set of gauges, old school tach nicely mounted to dash, AM/FM/CD stereo with remote, nicely updated with tilt steering and Vintage 3 spoke steering wheel, black pleaded headliner, door panels and seat cover, carpet and mats.
Under the hood of this “Cool” 55 pickup we have a GM Vortec 350 that has been rebuilt, comp thumpr cam, GM bow tie aluminum intake, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carb, K & N breather, updated with electronic ignition, heavy duty radiator, this strong running 350 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans, mild shift kit, front suspension has been nicely updated with a 78 Camaro sub-frame which has been grafted into the stock frame, power steering, power front disc brakes, set of long tube headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with stainless mufflers, nicely outfitted with a Camaro 10 bolt limited slip rear end, 331 gear.
Rides on a set of smooth steelie wheels with beanie caps and BF Goodrich TA tires all around.
Everything on this truck works as it should. This truck is a blast to drive and cruise.
