SOLD SOLD – 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396

This is an “Absolutely Gorgeous” show quality 69 Chevelle SS 396 that has had a recent frame off restoration, done in its factory “Show Quality” Garnet Red, base coat clear coat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, new tinted windshield; all other glass is original factory tint in excellent condition, all window stainless is original in excellent condition, new window felts and weather stripping, new side view mirrors, new door handles, new hood louvers, new emblems, grill, grill molding and head light bezels have been replaced, re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well moldings, tail light bezels and tail panel moldings have been replaced, re-chromed rear bumper.

Factory Garnet Red bucket seat console interior, dash has been re-conditioned, new dash pad, updated with Vintage AC and heat controls, new dash bezel, new AC vents, nicely updated with AM/FM/CD stereo system, front and rear speakers, factory SS steering wheel, new headliner and sun visors, new front and rear door panels, new arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers; as well as foam, front and rear seat belts with factory shoulder straps, original center console in excellent condition, new carpet, deluxe floormats, new sill plates.

Under the hood the original 396 has been replaced with a mild built 454, Comp cam, Edelbrock AirGap aluminum intake, Holley dual feed carb with electric choke, updated with electronic ignition, chrome valve covers and breather, K&N filter, nicely outfitted with Vintage AC & heat, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, power steering, factory power front disc brakes,  1 1/4 front sway bar, set of Hooker headers into 2 1/2 dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back with chrome bell tips, this strong running 454 is backed up with a 400 turbo trans, 12 bolt limited slip rear end with 331 gear, also updated with boxed control arms, new fuel and brake lines, new fuel tank and sending unit.

Rides on a set of 15 inch REV aluminum SS wheels with correct center caps, 15×7 up front with 215/70/15 and 15×8 out back with 275/60/15 BF Goodrich TA Radials all around.
