This is a very “COOL” 66 Chevelle convertible that had a recent resto-mod build, done in very nice Victory Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, steel cowl hood, at time of build had new tinted windshield; all other glass is original in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, original stainless window moldings and convertible top moldings are in excellent condition, new power convertible top and seals – plastic rear window in very good condition, new hood molding and fender eyebrow moldings, original grill and headlight bezels in excellent condition, new valance moldings, new front bumper, wheel well and rocker moldings are new; as well as door handles, new side view mirror, new fender 572 emblems and V8 flags, new Malibu emblems, new tail panel and taillight moldings; as well as taillights, re-chromed rear bumper.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash in excellent condition; as well as dash pad, tilt steering, factory deluxe steering wheel, nicely outfitted with Auto Meter GM performance gauges; as well as tach with shift limiter, new sun visors, new front and rear door panels, new arm rest and bases, front and rear seats have been reupholstered, nicely updated with front and rear seat belts, original center console in excellent condition, correct Hurst shifter to work properly with the Tremec 5 speed trans, new carpet, floor mats and sill plates.
Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a GM Performance 572, 620+ horsepower, full roller cam, aluminum Bowtie cylinder heads and intake, nicely outfitted with MSD fuel injection, aluminum 572 Chevrolet valve covers, chrome breather, nicely outfitted with March serpentine pulley kit including all billet aluminum components, nicely outfitted with direct fit heavy duty aluminum radiator and electric fans, power steering, power front disc brakes, auxiliary electric vacuum pump to asset the brakes, set of Hooker Super Comp ceramic coated headers with 4 inch collectors into 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers out the back in stock location, nicely outfitted with Detroit Speed front suspension – tubular upper and lower control arms, 1 3/8 front sway bar, fully adjustable coil overs, this strong running 572 is backed up with a Tremec 5 speed with hydraulic clutch, custom aluminum driveshaft, 12 bolt posi rear, nicely outfitted with Detroit Speed rear suspension – tubular control arms, frame supports, rear sway bar, fully adjustable coil overs, new fuel tank.
Rides on a set of new Coys wheels 18×7 up front and 18×8 out back with new tires 225/45/18 up front and 245/50/18 out back.
