This is a very clean 67 Chevelle SS 396, 4 speed that has had a recent body up restoration, rust free, original panel car done in a very slick medium red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheels smooth, slick as glass, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original in very good condition, new weather stripping and window felts, original window stainless moldings in very good condition, new correct bowtie side view mirrors, new door handles, hood louvers, hood molding and fender eye brow moldings, grill and headlight bezels in excellent condition, original re-chromed front bumper with accessory bumper guards, new wheel well moldings and rocker moldings, taillight bezels have also been replaced, tail panel and deck lid moldings look like new, original rear bumper and bumper guards in very good condition.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, dash housing has been refinished, at time of restoration had all new dash bezels, original factory gauge instrument cluster, nicely outfitted with direct-fit AM/FM/Cassette stereo, deluxe 3 spoke SS steering wheel, Vintage tach nicely mounted to column, deluxe pedal package, original dash pad in excellent condition, new headliner and sun visors, new sail panels, new front and rear door panels, arm rest and bases, front and rear seats have also been reupholstered, front and rear seat belts, original 4 speed center console in excellent condition, nicely outfitted with Hurst Competition Plus shifter, new carpet, floor mats and sill plates.
Under the hood we have a fresh professionally built 396, 60 over, comp cam, Edelbrock performance intake, 750 dual feed Holley 4 barrel carb, nicely updated with electronic ignition, chrome valve covers and breather, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and 6 blade fan, nicely updated with front disc brakes, this strong running 396 is backed up with a M21 Muncie 4 speed, new clutch and pressure plate, set of headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, 12 bolt limited slip rear with 331 gear, rear sway bar, new fuel tank and sending unit.
Rides on a set of new 17 inch “Rev” Classics and tires, 215/55 up front and 235/55 out back.
