This is a “Very Nice” 70 GTO 455 RamAir, 4 speed, #’s match that has had a complete restoration, clean rust free California built car, retains all original panels, done in slick factory Pepper Green, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint in excellent condition, retains all original window stainless which has been re-polished in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new side view mirrors, new door handles, original endura nose in very good condition, original headlight bezels in excellent condition, original grills in excellent condition, parking lights look like new, original rocker moldings and wheel well moldings in excellent condition, re-chromed original rear bumper, new taillights lens.
Factory cream interior, dash has been recondited, dash pad in excellent condition, factory gauge package with in dash tach, new dash bezel, factory stereo has been reworked – AM/FM with IPOD capabilities, front and rear speakers, AC vents have all been reconditioned, factory 3 spoke wood deluxe wheel, RamAir control has been replaced, new headliner and visors, new sail panels, deluxe package shelf with perforated speak vents, new front and rear door panels, new arm rests, new front and rear deluxe comfort weave seat covers; as well as foam, front and rear seat belts, original 4 speed center console with correct direct-fit Hurst shifter in excellent condition, new carpet and custom floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have the original #’s match 455 4 barrel; which has been completely rebuilt, factory intake and correct carb, RamAir air cleaner and air pan, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, factory AC; which has been converted to the 134A, power steering, power front disc brakes, upgraded 1 inch front sway bar, front suspension has been completely gone through, factory RamAir cast iron headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with stainless mufflers out the back with correct tips, this strong running 455 is backed up with its original Muncie 4 speed and Hurst shifter, factory 12 bolt posi rear with 331 gear, F41 suspension package; which is boxed control arms and rear sway bar, new fuel tank and sending unit.
Rides on a set of 17 inch aluminum PMD Rallye II’s 17×8 up front and 17×9.5 out back with Goodyear Eagle’s all around. Also have original Rallye II’s with BF Goodrich TA Radials; car can be purchased either way. RamAir option was added at time of restoration.
