SOLD SOLD – 1972 Chevrolet El Camino SS – Resto-Mod

This is a “Super Cool” 72 El Camino SS Resto-Mod that has undergone a custom build, done in a very nice Silver Metallic with black strips, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth.

Under the hood we have a Blue Print 509, 640 hp Crate Motor, roller cam, aluminum cylinder heads, AirGap intake, Holley Sniper fuel injection with in tank pump, full MSD ignition, heavy duty Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, billet recovery tank, Power Master alternator, power steering, Vintage AC and heat, set of long tube headers into 3 inch Flowmater exhaust, this strong running 509 is backed up with a professionally built 350 turbo trans, Gear Vendors overdrive unit, auxiliary trans cooler with electric fan, front suspension has been completely updated with tubular upper and lower control arms, RideTech lowering coils, 1 1/8 front sway bar, updated with QuickSteer steering gear box, Wilwood 4 wheel disc with 4 piston calipers and drilled and slotted rotors, rear suspension has been updated with a Ford 9 inch direct-fit rear end, 411 posi, QP custom axels, Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors, RideTech lowering coils, UMI Performance fully adjustable control arms upper and lower, adjustable panhard bar, rear sway bar.

Rides on a set of American Racing 18×8 up front with 245/40/18 and 18×9.5 rear with 295/40ZR/18, Nitto Performance tires all around.

At time of build had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint in excellent condition, original window stainless in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new door handles, new emblems, original grill and headlight bezels in excellent condition; as well as marker lights, original re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well moldings, upper bed stainless and chrome moldings have all been replaced, new taillight housings, very nice hinged tonneau cover, re-chromed rear bumper, custom Jack Daniels mural air brushed on tailgate; also have cowl induction hood with Jack Daniels custom logo that can be included in sale.

Factory black interior, SS dash has been reconditioned, dash pad is original in excellent condition, completely rewired with American Auto wiring, factory in dash tach and gauge package, Vintage AC and heat controls, nicely updated with multi-speed delay Detroit Speed wipers, nicely outfitted with direct-fit AM/FM stereo; which is Bluetooth and IPOD capability, AMP and kickers, custom kick panel speakers, tilt steering with billet steering wheel, new headliner, new door panels, rear package shelf has been nicely air brushed with Jack Daniels whiskey barrel, nicely outfitted with Corbeau Pro-Touring seats; which are fully adjustable and recline, updated shoulder strap seat belts, original center console and staple shifter, Gear Vendors control switches nicely mounted in console; Gear Vendors unit can be automatically controlled or manual, new carpet and floor mats, new sill plates.

This “Bad Ass” El Camino is ready to cruise, show and enjoy.
