SOLD SOLD – 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible – #’s Match

This is a very nice 68 Firebird 400, #’s match convertible that has had a recent body up restoration, done in very nice Solar Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint in very good condition, original windshield stainless and pillar stainless moldings in very good condition, black convertible top in excellent condition, convertible top stainless is original in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new side view mirrors; driver side is remote, new door handles, re-chromed front bumper, original grills in excellent condition, new emblems, wheel well moldings have also been replaced, original rocker moldings in excellent condition, new chrome quarter panel gills, quarter panel marker lights are original in excellent condition, original taillights in excellent condition, new rear bumper.

Black deluxe interior, original dash in excellent condition, original dash pad also in excellent condition, factory original AC vents, power windows, nicely outfitted with AM/FM/CD stereo system, original deluxe front and rear door panels in excellent condition, original rear seat in excellent condition, front seats have been reupholstered, deluxe front and rear seat belts, original center console in excellent condition, new carpet, custom floor mats, original sill plates.

Under the hood we have the original #’s match 400 4 barrel which has been rebuilt, updated with Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel carb; also have original 4 barrel intake and quadrajet carburetor, factory chrome valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, heavy duty Harrison radiator with correct shroud and fan, factory AC, power steering, power brakes, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust with correct transverse muffler and dual tips in stock location, this strong running 400 is backed up with its original 400 turbo trans, 10 bolt posi rear with 355 gear, new fuel tank.
