SOLD SOLD – 1949 Ford F1 – Shortbox

This is a “COOL” 49 Ford F1 that has had a frame off build, done in Arrival Blue, basecoat clearcoat with silver and red custom pin strip, new tinted glass all around, new weather stripping and window felts; as well as windshield and back glass rubber, original hood stainless in excellent condition, new Ford emblems; header panel and side, new grill chrome and parking lights, new headlight bezels, new chrome front bumper, new maple wood bed, battery has been remounted to bed with a custom polished aluminum battery box, new stainless tail lights, new chrome rear bumper; which as been sucked in for that cooler look.

Entire inside of cab has been refinished, updated wiring through out, dash has been refinished, which has been updated with Omega gauges and Vintage tach, IDIDT tilt steering column, nicely updated with RainWorks electric wipers, also nicely updated with Vintage AC and heat, new rear view mirror, headliner and cab backer, nicely outfitted with power leather bucket seats; and seat belts, center console with LoKar shifter, updated with LoKar accelerator pedal, new carpet, fuel tank has also been nicely upholstered.

Under the hood we have a rebuilt 350, Quadrajet 4 barrel carb with electric choke, chrome valve covers and breather, nicely updated with electronic ignition, GM serpentine pulley kit with Vintage AC and heat, 100 amp alternator, heavy duty aluminum radiator with thermostatic controlled electric fan, this strong running 350 is backed up with a 700R4 automatic overdrive trans, ceramic coated headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the side, nicely updated with power 4 wheel disc brakes, Heidts Mustang II front suspension package with power rack and pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, fully adjustable coil over shocks with disc brakes, rear end has been updated to 8.8 Ford rear with disc brakes.

Rides on a set of 15 inch chrome American Racing wheels and Michelin Radial tires all around.

This “COOL” truck is ready to cruise and enjoy.
