SOLD SOLD – 1970 Buick Skylark Convertible

This is a very nice 70 Buick Skylark Convertible that has had the same owner for 32 years, which has had a recent frame off restoration, done in its factory Cranberry Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is original in excellent condition, all window and pillar stainless is original in excellent condition, new white convertible top with glass rear window, all new top seals, matching parade boot, new weather stripping and window felts, new door handles, correct Buick side view mirrors which have been re-chromed; driver side is remote, original grills and grill molding in excellent condition, original headlight bezels in excellent condition, original re-chromed front bumper, wheel well moldings look like new; as well as rocker moldings, original side markers, original deck lid and quarter moldings in excellent condition, original rear bumper which has been re-chromed, Buick applique is original in excellent condition.

All new factory white interior, original dash in excellent condition – no cracks in dash pad, AM/FM stereo, power top, original instrument cluster in excellent condition, a trio of gauges nicely mounted under dash, factory deluxe Buick steering wheel, at time of restoration had new front and rear door panels, armrest, bases, front and rear seat covers; has optional fold down arm rest in front seat, factory deluxe front and rear seat belts, new carpet and custom floor mats, original sill plates.

Under the hood we have the original 350 which has been rebuilt, updated with PerTronix electronic ignition, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, power steering, power brakes, this strong running 350 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans, set of factory cast iron headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back, new fuel tank and sending unit.

Rides on a set of factory Buick Rallys with Coker Classic Redline Radials 215/75/14 all around.
