This is a “Super Cool” 69 Firebird 400, started out with a clean body, done in a Graphite Gray Metallic, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, factory 400 hood, rear spoiler added, at time of restoration had new weather stripping and window felts, new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory soft-ray tint in very good condition, window stainless and back glass stainless look like new, new door handles, new side view mirrors, re-chromed front bumper, original grills and headlight bezels in excellent condition, new parking lights, lower chin spoiler, new side marker birds, new rear bumper.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, new dash pad, instrument cluster has been updated with Dakota Digital Classic instrumentation; which includes tach and gauges, original dash bezel in very good condition, new headliner and sun visors, new front door panels and arm rest; rears are original in very good condition, front and rear seats have been reupholstered, new front and rear seat belts, original center console, nicely outfitted with B&M shifter which works with the 700R4 overdrive trans, new carpet and floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have a YB-code 400 which is correct for the Firebird, updated with performance cam Holley Strip Dominator aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb with electric choke, aluminum valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, power steering, power front disc brakes, drilled and slotted rotors, new front suspension, heavy duty aluminum radiator with electric fan, set of ceramic coated header into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back in stock location, this strong running 400 is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive trans, 10 bolt posi rear end, 308 gear, QA1 adjustable rear shocks, new fuel tank and sending unit.
Rides on a set of black chrome Coy wheels 17×7 up front with 225/45/17 and 18×8.5 out back with 235/50/18.
