This is a very clean all original panel 72 Chevelle that has had a recent build, steel cowl hood, done in “Show Quality” Flame Orange (Hugger Orange) with white SS strips, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint – also light smoke tint has been added for that cool look, all factory original window stainless in excellent condition, weather stripping and window felts have been replaced, new side view mirrors, new door handles, original grill in excellent condition, headlight bezels and parking light bezels have been replaced, re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well and rocker moldings, re-chromed rear bumper.
Factory white interior which has been redone, original dash in excellent condition, nicely outfitted with retrofit AM/FM with IPOD capability, updated with Vintage AC and heat controls, tach nicely mounted to column, factory comfort grip steering wheel, new headliner, new front and rear door panels, new front and rear seat covers, factory front and rear seat belts, new carpet, floor mats and sill plates.
Under the hood we have a 30 over 350, comp cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock Dura-shine intake, Holley dual feed 4 barrel carb with electric choke, electronic ignition, chrome billet aluminum valve covers and breather, HighFlow aluminum water pump, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, chrome AC compressor, chrome power steering pump, chrome 1 wire 100 amp alternator, polished aluminum pulleys, set of long tube ceramic coated headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, nicely updated with power 4 wheel disc brakes, this strong running 355 is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive trans, posi rear with 342 gear.
