This is a clean original panel, California built, true GTO that has had a recent restoration, done in a “Show Quality” Regimental Red, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, custom hand painted pin strip, new black vinyl top, new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tinted in excellent condition, at time of restoration had new weather stripping and window felts, original window and upper door stainless in excellent condition, new side view mirrors, new door handles, original headlight bezels in good condition, original grills and grill moldings in excellent condition, new parking light bezels and lens, re-chromed front bumper, wheel well and rocker moldings are original in very good condition, new emblems, rear mounted power antenna, deck lid and quarter moldings are original in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash in very good condition, original dash pad in excellent condition, original instrument cluster with wood grain in excellent condition, hood mounted hood tach, retro-fit AM/FM/Cassette stereo, trio of gauges mounted under dash; also has rare factory console mounted vacuum gauge, deluxe wood wheel, headliner has been replaced, new package shelf, new front and rear door panels, new arm rest and bases, front and rear seats have been reupholstered, deluxe front and rear seat belts, original center console with Hurst His & Her shifter in excellent condition, new carpet and custom floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood we have the original #’s match YS 400, 670 cylinder head, factory 4 barrel intake, updated with Edelbrock 4 barrel carb; also have original Quadrajet , chrome valve covers and breather, factory cast iron RamAir exhaust headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back in stock location with stainless tips, power steering, heavy duty cooling system with correct shroud and fan, updated with power disc brakes, front suspension has been gone through, this is a factory AC car; but is missing compressor, condenser and lines, this strong running 400 is backed up with its original 400 turbo trans, factory 10 bolt posi rear with 342 gear, rear sway bar and boxed control arms.
