This is an “Absolutely Gorgeous” 66 Chevelle SS that has had a recent frame off nut and bolt restoration, at time of restoration had SS options added, done in a “Show Quality” Bolero Red base coat clear coat, sanded and wheeled smooth, slick as glass, new weather stripping and window felts; including vent window rubbers, new tinted windshield , new tinted side and back glass, original window stainless moldings have all been re-polished in excellent condition, new side view mirror, new door handles, new emblems, grill, grill moldings and head light bezels are also new, re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well and rocker moldings, new tail panel moldings, new tail light bezels, re-chromed rear bumper.
Black bucket seat interior, dash has been refinished, original dash pad in excellent condition, new dash bezels, speedometer was set to “0” at time of restoration and is know showing 636 miles, nicely updated with direct-fit AM/FM stereo, IPOD capability, Vintage AC and heat, 3 spoke sport wheel, new headliner, sun visors and sail panels, new front and rear door panels; as well as arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers; as well as foam, nicely updated with front and rear seat belts, Hurst Competition Plus 4 speed shifter, new carpet and floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a professionally built 454, Edelbrock Performance plus cam, Edelbrock aluminum 4 barrel intake, Holley 4 barrel carb, chrome valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, 80 amp alternator, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, Vintage AC and heat, power steering, power front disc brakes, front suspension has been completely gone through; new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, ect., new brake and fuel lines front to rear, this strong running 454 is backed up with a Munice M21 4 speed, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back in stock location, 12 bolt limited slip rear end with 342 gear, nicely updated with rear sway bar, new bushings, shocks and springs, new fuel tank and sending unit.
Rides on a set of new American Racing Torq Thrust wheels 17×7 up front with 215/55/17 and 17×8.5 out back with 235/55/17.
This “Gorgeous” Chevelle is ready to show and cruise.
Although is Chevelle appears to be a SS it is a clone. Also have several receipts and paperwork from restoration.
