This is an “Absolutely Gorgeous” 66 Chevelle SS 396, out of a personal collect that has had a recent frame off restoration, done in a gorgeous Marina Blue, base coat clear coat, sanded and wheeled smooth, new tinted windshield; all other glass is original in excellent condition, all original window stainless in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, new correct bow tie side view mirrors, new door handles, new SS hood louvers, new hood spear, grill and head light bezels look like new, new hood molding and fender eye brows, new valance moldings, new emblems, wheel well and rocker moldings, original tail panel moldings in very good condition, new tail light bezels, re-chromed front and rear bumpers.
Factory black bucket seat console interior; which is all new by Legendary Interior, dash has been refinished, factory gauge package, all new dash bezels, original dash pad in excellent condition, nicely updated with a direct fit AM/FM stereo with IPOD capability, factory original SS steering wheel, new headliner, new front and rear door panels, new arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers; as well as foam, factory deluxe seat belts, original center console in very good condition, original shifter has been reworked to work properly with the 700R4 overdrive trans, new carpet and floor mats, original sill plates.
Under the hood we have a 66 396, 360 horse which has been completely rebuilt, steel crank, forged pistons, performance cam, heads were reworked for NO-Lead fuel, updated with aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb with electric choke, chrome valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, updated with 1 wire 80 amp alternator, factory power steering, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, new front suspension, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, all new fuel and brake lines, this strong running 396 is backed up with a professionally built 700R4 automatic overdrive trans, factory 12 bolt posi rear with 331 gear, boxed lower control arms, rear sway bar, new fuel tank and sending unit.
