This is an “Absolutely Gorgeous” 56 Chevy Bel Air, 2 door, hardtop, clean original panel car, done in its original “Show Quality” 2 tone Matador Red and Adobe Beige base coat clear coat, at time of restoration had all new factory green tint glass, new front and rear window rubbers, new weather stripping and window felts, all window stainless moldings are original; which have been re-polished in excellent condition, also upper door garnish moldings have been re-polished in excellent condition, dual side view mirrors, re-chromed hood jet, new emblems, new hood bar and eye brow moldings, original headlight bezels in excellent condition, original stainless grill in excellent condition, grill molding and blinker bezels have been re-chromed, re-chromed front bumper, all Bel Air side stainless is original; which has been re-polished in excellent condition, tail light housings have also been replaced, taillight lens with blue dots, new deck lid emblems, new 1 piece rear bumper and bumper guards.
Factory 2 tone Red and Beige interior which was been redone at time of restoration with Cars, Inc. kit, dash has been repainted, all original dash trim in excellent condition, original speedo cluster, shift indicator was updated to the 4 speed automatic indicator, trio of gauges nicely mounted under dash, factory original steering wheel, nicely updated with 2 speed electric wipers, head liner and sun visors in excellent condition, all stainless garnish trim in excellent condition; also has chrome upper door and quarter garnish moldings, front and rear door panels are in excellent condition, front and rear seat covers as in excellent condition, Dayton carpet package with color match floor mats, new sill plates.
Under the hood has been nicely updated with a professionally built 383, 450 horse, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb with electric choke, chrome valve covers and breather with K&N filter, updated with 80 amp 1 wire alternator, heavy duty aluminum radiator with thermostatic controlled electric fan, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, front suspension has been gone through, set of Hooker long tub ceramic coated headers into 3 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back, nicely updated with 700R4 overdrive trans, 355 posi rear.
