SOLD SOLD – 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS

This is a very clean 65 Impala SS, built new in California, has had same owner since 1991, done in a slick “Show Quality” SunFire Yellow, new tined windshield; all other glass is factory tint in very good condition, at time of restoration had new weather stripping and window felts, all window upper door and stainless moldings in excellent condition, new door handles, original grill and head light bezels in excellent condition, front bumper has been re-chromed, new emblems, new wheel well moldings, tail light housings look like new, SS tail panel molding is original in excellent condition; black paint has been removed for the classier look, rear bumper has been re-chromed.

Factory bucket seat console interior; which has been all redone in factory buckskin color, original dash pad, original dash cluster with gauge package in very good condition, dash trim is also original in excellent condition, pair of gauges nicely mounted under dash for better accuracy, also has Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette stereo nicely mounted under dash with pair of 6×9 speakers mounted in rear, new headliner, new sail panels, new arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers, has been nicely updated with correct front and rear seat belts, original center console in excellent condition, factory shifter has been reworked for the 700R4 overdrive trans, new carpet with floor mats, original sill plates.

Under the hood the original 327 has been replaced with a built 400 small block with Comp cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake, Holley dual feed carb, updated with Mallory performance ignition system with Rev limiter, billet aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, K&N filter, updated with serpentine kit, 100 amp alternator, power steering, heavy duty radiator with 7 blade clutch fan and correct shroud, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, 4 piston calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, new front suspension; bushings, ball joints, tie rods, ect., set of ceramic coated headers into 2 1/2 dual exhaust out the back with chrome tips, this strong running 400 is backed up with a 700R4 overdrive trans, 12 bolt posi rear end with 373 gear.

Rides on a set of BG Torq Thrust wheels and BF Goodrich all around, 15×7 up front with 235/60/15 and 15×8 out back with 275/60/15.
