SOLD SOLD – 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 – 4 speed – 138 VIN

This is a very nice, clean original panel 66 Chevelle SS 396, 4 speed, 138 VIN, that has had 1 repaint its original Artesian Turquoise (Code KK), base coat clear coat, new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory tinted in excellent condition, at time of repaint had new weather stripping and window felts, side view mirrors, original door handles, original grill, new emblems, re-chromed front bumper, new wheel well moldings, tail panel moldings appear to have been replaced; as well as tail light bezels, re-chromed rear bumper.

Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash pad in excellent condition, factory gauge package with knee knocker tach, dash bezels have been replaced, factory appearing AM/FM stereo, factory tilt wheel with 3 spoke sport wheel, original headliner in good condition, front and rear door panels have been replaced, original front and rear seat covers in good condition, factory optional front and rear seat belts, factory original center console with working clock, has been updated with Hurst Competition Plus shifter with factory appearing handle, appears carpet has been replaced with deluxe rubber floor mats.

Under the hood we have a re-built 66 396 with mild performance upgrades, factory 4 barrel intake, quadrajet 4 barrel carb, chrome valve covers and breather, nicely updated with MSD electronic ignition, 6AL box, heavy duty aluminum radiator with correct shroud and 6 blade fan, set of Hedman ceramic coated headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with Super Turbo mufflers, factory power steering, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, front suspension has been completely redone, also has been updated with tubular upper and lower A-Arms, fully adjustable QA1 aluminum coil overs, this strong running 396 is backed up with a M21 Muncie 4 speed, 12 bolt posi rear with 331 gear, rear sway bar, boxed upper and lower control arms, new fuel tank.

Rides on a set of American Racing Torq-Thrust D wheels 15×8 with new 225/70 all around.

This cool Chevelle is ready to drive and enjoy.
