This is a very clean 64 Chevelle Malibu SS convertible, that has had a recent body up restoration, done in a “Show Quality” Ember Red with power white top, matching parade boot, new tinted windshield, factory soft ray side glass in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, at time of restoration had new convertible top installed, new correct bow tie side view mirrors, new door handles, original window stainless in excellent condition, hood moldings and fender eye brows also look like new, new emblems, grill and headlight bezels look like new, re-chromed front bumper, upper body side moldings are original in very good condition, tail light and deck lid moldings are original in excellent, wheel well and rocker moldings look like new, rear bumper has been re-chromed.
Factory bucket seat console interior, new dash pad, dash bezel has also been re-chromed, factory gauge package, original deluxe steering wheel, nicely outfitted with AM/FM/CD stereo; with remote, at time of restoration new front and rear door panels, new arm rest, new front and rear seat covers, nicely outfitted with front and rear seat belts, original center console which is in good condition with correct shifter, new carpet with custom floor mats, original sill plates.
Under the hood we have the original 283 factory 4 barrel, updated with Holley 4 barrel carb and electric choke, heavy duty radiator with 7 blade clutch fan, factory power steering, has been nicely updated with power front disc brakes, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back with chrome tips, this strong running 283 is backed up with its original 2 speed power glide trans, 10 bolt limited slip rear end.
Rides on a set of new American Racing Torq Thrust D’s 15×7 and new radial tires 215/70/15 all around; also have original wheels and SS hub caps.
This nice 64 SS is ready to show and cruise.
