SOLD SOLD – 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 – 4 speed

This is a “Absolutely Gorgeous” 66 Chevelle that has undergone a complete frame off restoration painted “Show Quality” Sandalwood Tan (Code T) base coat clear coat sanded and wheeled slick as glass straight as an arrow, new weather stripping and window felts, new tinted windshield – all other glass is original excellent condition, front and rear glass stainless is original in excellent condition, correct bowtie side view mirror, new door handles, new hood slats and hood ornament, new hood molding and eyebrow moldings, new grill and headlight bezels, new valance trim, new emblems all around, new wheel well trim, new SS rocker trim, new front and rear bumpers, new tail lights and tail light trim, as well as tail panel moldings (although this 66 appears to be a SS it is a clone) During time of restoration this gorgeous 66 was cloned to a SS).

Complete new factory black interior, new dash pad, new SS dash trim, retro-fit AM/FM/Cassette with iPod connector stereo, front and rear speakers, knee knocker tach, trio of gauges nicely mounted under dash, new headliner, new dome light housing and lens, new sun visors, new front and rear door panels, new front & rear armrest and bases,  new handles and cranks, new front and rear seat covers – also with new foam, front and rear seat belts, new carpet with rubber floor mats, new sill plates, Hurst 4 speed shifter.

Under the hood we have a period correct 350 horse 396 – which has been completely rebuilt, steel crank, forged pistons 10.5:1, cylinder heads have been reworked for No-lead fuel, Comp cam, roller rockers, ARP head studs, Edelbrock performer intake, Holley dual feed carburetor, chrome valve covers and breather, updated with electronic ignition, new heavy duty radiator with 7 blade fan, new factory wiring throughout, updated with power front disc brakes, new front suspension components, set of Hooker headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster exhaust out the back in stock location, Muncie M21 4 speed trans with Hurst shifter, new clutch and pressure plate, 12 bolt posi rear end with 331 gear, new fuel tank and sending unit, new fuel and brake lines.

Rides on a set of new “REV” Classic’s 15×7 all round with 215/70/15 front and 255/60/15 rear.

Factory jack and spare. Everything works on car as it should. Runs and drives excellent. Ready to show and go.
